IIST Applications Are Invited For the Post of Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the following assignment in a purely time-bound DST Sponsored research project undertaken in the Department of Chemistry of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Valiamala PO, Thiruvananthapuram- 695 547.

Post:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualification:

M.Sc. Degree in any branches of Chemistry with First Class or equivalent with CSIR-UGC NET Lectureship, or GATE (valid qualified Score).

Age limit as on 28.12.2012 : 

28 years. Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India orders.

• Only Indian Nationals need apply.
• Only short listed candidates will be called for written test/interview, as the case may be, based on merit.
• Candidates shortlisted for written test/interview should appear in person with original certificates proving educational qualification, age, caste, experience etc., along with any other relevant information (like copies of publication awards, recommendations etc.)
• No travelling or any other allowances is admissible for attending the written test/interview.
• Tenure of the JRF will be initially for a period of One year and will be extendable on need basis based on performance.
• The Institute reserves the right to terminate the assignment at any time before completion of the contract appointment, if it so decides.
• The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the position, if it so decides.
• No interim correspondence will be entertained.
• A ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central/State Government/Public Sector
• Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies.
• Candidates should enclose attested true copies of the relevant certificate/testimonials along with the application.
• Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
• Duly filled application form along with attested copies of documents proving educational qualification, age, caste, experience etc., should be sent to The Administrative Officer, IIST, Valiamala Post, Thiruvananthapuram – 695547 with the superscription “Application for the position of Junior Research Fellow” on or before 28.12.2012
